When the surgery is closed, NHS 111 is the right service for urgent medical help or advice that is not a life-threatening emergency. You can reach NHS 111 any time, day or night, 365 days a year.
NHS 111 will assess your symptoms, provide clinical advice, and — if needed — direct you to the most appropriate service, whether that is a GP, urgent care centre, pharmacy, or A&E.
Important: NHS 111 is for urgent situations that are not life-threatening. If you believe someone's life is at risk, call 999 immediately or go to A&E.
If you or someone else experiences any of the symptoms below and you believe it could be life-threatening, do not delay — call 999 immediately or go straight to the nearest Accident & Emergency department.
For life-threatening emergencies, call 999 immediately. Emergency situations are always prioritised. Do not attempt to drive yourself to A&E in a serious emergency — an ambulance is the safest option.
We completely understand that life sometimes gets in the way of planned appointments. We only ask that if you cannot attend, please let us know as early as possible so that your slot can be offered to another patient who may need it.
A significant number of appointments go unused every week due to patients not attending and not notifying us — this leads to longer waiting times for everyone. Your consideration makes a real difference.
Please give us as much notice as possible so the slot can be reallocated.
It is clinically better for patients to be seen at the surgery, where we have superior facilities, diagnostic equipment and lighting to properly assess you. We work closely with Ealing Community Transport to bring patients to the surgery where needed.
Home visits are available only for housebound patients and those who are too ill to attend in person. They are not available as an alternative to arranging transport.
To request a home visit: please contact the surgery as early as possible on the morning you require the visit — ideally before 11:00am. A GP will call you back to discuss your symptoms and confirm whether a home visit is appropriate.
Home visits are assessed individually and prioritised according to clinical need.
Our online booking portal is available around the clock. Browse available appointments and book instantly, without waiting on the phone.
