A Partnership Between
Patients & Practice

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients, carers, and GP practice staff who meet regularly to discuss and improve the services and care provided by the practice. Our PPG is an integral part of how Saluja Clinic operates.

The PPG gives patients a formal voice in how the practice is run, how it communicates, and how services are developed. It is an advisory group — we don't handle individual complaints or medical matters — but we are a trusted channel through which the patient community can engage with the practice leadership.

NHS England guidelines encourage all GP practices to have an active PPG, and at Saluja Clinic we are proud to maintain a group that is genuinely representative of our diverse West London community.

Our PPG is open to all registered patients. Whether you have lived in Southall for decades or have just moved to the area, whether you attend frequently or rarely — your perspective matters and you are welcome.

What the PPG Works On

The PPG covers a wide range of topics that make a real difference to patient experience at Saluja Clinic.

Patient Feedback Review
Reviewing anonymised patient feedback, Friends & Family Test results, and complaint themes to identify areas for improvement in our services.
Access & Appointments
Working with the practice team to improve how patients access appointments, reduce waiting times, and ensure fair access for all patient groups.
Practice Communications
Helping improve how the practice communicates with patients — from letters and text messages to signage, the website, and digital services.
Health Promotion
Planning and promoting local health events, screening campaigns, and awareness initiatives that benefit the Southall community.
Patient Surveys
Designing, distributing, and analysing patient surveys to gather structured feedback on specific aspects of care or service delivery.
Community Representation
Ensuring diverse patient groups — including older adults, younger patients, and our multilingual community — have a voice in practice decisions.
